    A Vintage Inspired Tea Party

For a long time now I have had this idea in my head which I just couldn't shake. Most days I would keep thinking about it and pushing it aside as a 'I will do that oneday' thought. Finally I decided to take the plunge and do my first ever Themed or Concept Shoot. I knew for my first one it had to be a little girls Tea Party, so one night I put a call out on my Facebook Page asking for photos to be emailed to me. I had a very, very specific picture in my head of how I wanted this shoot, I had pictured what they looked like, the location, food, clothing...everything. It took a lot of organising, I wanted it to be perfect and to showcase my work and what I am capable of doing with all the right elements. I contacted businesses asking if they would like to collaborate and let me use their services for the photos. I was really happy with people being so willing to help! I would like to give links to their websites at the bottom of this post as a thank you and to have their products/services recognised.
I could go on and on about these photos, but I will post them and let them speak for themselves...to say I am absolutely over the moon with the results would be a massive understatement, I am so extremely happy and thank everybody around me for their help! I hope you all love these as much as I do xoxo PS> Oh and remember I am always on Facebook posting photos, so 'Like' my page (please!) FACEBOOK

I would like to thank the following businesses for helping make my dream photo shoot a reality:
Tea Princess: All Clothing and hair pieces
     www.teaprincess.com.au
Flowers on Fairway, Pittsworth: Flower Arrangement
    www.flowersonfairway.com.au
Toowoomba Party Hire: Table, Cover, Skirting & Tiffany Chairs
    Amanda's Fudge Factory: Scrumptious Fudge!
    So Yesterday Vintage Rentals: Chalkboard
Flights of Fancy: Fairy Door and Mushrooms

And a big thank you to a lovely friend, and Mum of one of the beautiful little girls, Maria Featon for making the stunning labels for the glass bottles and a very cute Doily Bunting around the table, absolutely perfect!
Thank you also to my little sister Ashleigh for the yummy teapot biscuits and help with all the setting up, and to all the mums for their help, and for lending me their lovely daughters!
Better not forget my hubby too, for quickly knocking me up the beautiful swing for the girls to play on, they all loved it!

    I've been a little busy...

Woah...so I have been very slack with keeping my blog up to date, which isn't good because the quality of my photos are so much better on here then Facebook! But Facebook is just so easy! I will try to be more diligent in my posting! I have had a lot of shoots since my last post on here but I will just upload a few of my favourites! Enjoy :)

On a side not...I am very excited to be taking wedding bookings again, with only a very limited number I will take per year, so send me an email to: a.newmanphotos@gmail.com if you are interested!
